These activities may include playdough, cooking, or painting. Through these interactions, children develop empathy, social skills, and a sense of community, while both groups have the opportunity to learn from and inspire
each other.

Children will practice showing love and care for others, themselves, and the environment through small acts of kindness, like helping a friend, teacher, or taking care of nature and our surroundings. We will also talk about the importance of showing appreciation and affection to our families and those who love us, and how Love brings happiness to people and this world

World book week
Celebration of authors, illustrators, books and the joy of reading. All children are encouraged to bring in one of their favourite books from home which they will then share with their peer group during the week. We will encourage your child to share their view such as their favourite character, why they enjoy the book, and to retell the story as they understand it. This is a great opportunity for children to practise their literacy and communication skills and their understanding of the order of events. On Thursday 6th March all the children and staff are encouraged to dress up as a character from their favourite book to conclude the celebrations for the week.

They will take part in engaging activities such as dyeing eggs with patterns, Easter themed arts and crafts, egg hunt, sports activities and storytelling related to Easter, fostering creativity and cultural awareness.

Elf run (for charity)
Throughout December we will be learning about the spirit of Christmas—kindness, gratitude and giving. As part of this learning, we’re organising an Elf Run for Charity for children in the second week of December.
Instead of a £3 donation, we warmly invite families to donate tinned food or unopened bottles that we can deliver to our local food bank. A donation box will be placed by the entrance gate throughout December to make contributing easy.

We’ll involve the children in the whole process—looking at the items collected, talking about who they will help, and sharing photos of the donation drop-off—so they can see the impact of their kindness.
